Loves: jumping like a frog
Miss Froggy is a pleasantly shy girl with full of smiles when she walks into the classroom. Miss Froggy has thin, tiny fingers and loves to jump. She once said, on her way out of the classroom, that she would like to be a frog and her piano teacher (yours truly) is to be held responsible for that.
The appoggiatura was introduced to her in one of her books and the piece was titled, “Jumping like a Frog”. It was to her piano teacher’s greatest mistake to ask whether she knew how a frog would jump.
Ever since then, Miss Froggy would start hopping whenever she comes across the appoggiatura.
